Having recently retired early from Corporate IT, my goal is to spend more time writing, reading, gardening, cycling, hiking, traveling, sailing, and fostering rescued beagles.

I live in Tampa, Florida just north of Downtown and I’m a member of Davis Island Yacht Club, where I sail, volunteer on the History Committee, and drink rum with my friends.

I try to get out of Florida for the hotter more humid and hurricane-y months, and this year I’m heading to Southern England, then road tripping up to Maine, then participating in RAGBRAI, a bicycle ride across Iowa.

A few of my favorite things are college hoops, cheesecake, afternoon naps, The NY Times, and live music.
